The Blackwater Protection Plan (BPP) is a monthly septic maintenance plan — also called a septic service contract or septic care plan — offered by Blackwater Services in Snohomish, Skagit, and Island Counties, Washington. Plans start at $59 per month for gravity and LPD systems, with the Protection tier at $99 per month for ATU systems, which includes biannual inspections required by Washington State regulation and up to $1,000 per year in repair credits. What are the plan prices?
Essential: $59/month or $649/year. Protection: $99/month or $1,089/year. Premium: $129/month or $1,419/year. Auto-pay is required for all plans.
Which plan do I need for an aerobic (ATU) system?
ATU systems must enroll in the Protection or Premium tier, which includes the mandatory biannual inspections required by Washington State regulation.
Can I cancel anytime?
The initial term is 12 months. After the initial term, the plan renews month-to-month and can be cancelled with 30 days written notice. Early termination during the initial term requires payment of the remaining balance.
How does the repair credit work?
Protection and Premium tier members receive up to $1,000 in annual repair credit. Credits are prorated based on component age at enrollment, reset annually, and do not roll over. Pre-existing deficiencies and full system replacements are excluded.
