Do you handle the permitting for new septic installations in Snohomish, Skagit, and Island Counties?
Yes. We handle all county permitting, site evaluations, and health department coordination. Each county has different requirements — Snohomish County requires a site plan review under SCC Title 7.02, while Island County has additional shoreline setback rules. We know each county's process and manage it for you.
How long does it take to install a new septic system?
The permitting process typically takes 4–12 weeks depending on the county and property complexity. Once permits are approved, installation usually takes 1–5 days depending on system type. We'll give you a detailed timeline at your initial consultation.
What types of septic systems do you install?
We install conventional gravity systems, aerobic treatment units (ATUs), mound systems, drip irrigation systems, and pressure-dosed systems. System type is determined by soil conditions, lot size, property use, and county regulations.
My tank needs to be replaced — do I need a full new system?
Not necessarily. If your drainfield is in good condition, a tank replacement alone is often possible. We assess both during our initial site visit before recommending any work.
